Our deck was old and falling apart. Four different companies gave us bids on replacing the deck. All the prices were comparable. There were five reasons we chose L & K over the other companies:
1) L&K took time to look at the deck from all angles - not just the deck flooring.
2) They offered suggestions for change - things that would make the deck look better - they did not just give us a price on replacing the flooring- but made suggestions for other designs to improve the deck.
3) They gave us a price and let us know if they had to replace the foundation it would cost more. No one else did that. They were thorough with every detail.
4) They completed the deck making improvements as they went. I asked them to make improvements here and there as we went along. They never complained and made the improvement.
5) They were easy to work with, they worked fast and we are very pleased with their work. I would use them again for my next project and I highly recommend them.

L&K Construction has done a lot of work for us the last couple of years. Lane has re-done a couple of bathrooms for us. What sets Lane apart from the rest of the industry is that when he draws up plans he uses bright crayons. And not just any crayons the BIG ones. He for some reason eats only the bright ones. His attention to detail is unparalleled. He focuses so much on his work that he tends to not notice when he gets his chili-dog all over his shirt. But his work more than makes up for it! He even has a tool he calls a speed square(damn thing is a triangle) but he makes pretty cool cuts with it. We have caught him licking the grout from time to time, and at first we were concerned, but the finished product is amazeballs. We will definitely use Lane and L&K again and again. The entertainment purposes are worth their weight in gold!

Lane and Krissa with L+K Construction were the perfect fit for our project. From our first meeting they took the time to listen to our vision and did a phenomenal job of making it a reality. During the construction, they discovered an issue with the new structure attaching to our existing house and they took the necessary steps to make sure it was built correctly and safely.
